Frequently Asked Questions

Privacy Policy for more details.

What is rent relief and how does it work?
Rent relief is a tax deduction allowed under Nigerian tax law. TaxPaddy automatically applies 20% of your gross income as rent relief, capped at ₦100,000 annually. The app tracks your rent relief usage throughout the year.
How do recurring entries work?
Recurring entries are automatically created in the background using server-side processing. You don't need to open the app daily - your recurring income and expenses will be added automatically based on your schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly).
Do I need to manually track receipts?
No! TaxPaddy includes built-in receipt management. You can capture receipt photos directly in the app, and they're automatically stored in the cloud and linked to your transactions.
How do loan transactions affect my taxes?
TaxPaddy properly handles loan transactions according to Nigerian tax law. Loan principal amounts are marked as tax-exempt (they're not income), while interest paid on loans can be tracked as an expense. This ensures accurate tax calculations.
What devices are supported?
TaxPaddy is available for both iOS and Android devices. The app requires iOS 13.0 or later for iPhone users, and Android 8.0 or later for Android users.
